Why British accent of all accents?

It's cool and most of my favourite singers are British

British accents are boring. I have one and I sound so dull ._.

Maybe because everyone around you speaks it. I hear different accents all the time but it's still mainly American accents, but I have never heard someone that could speak a British accent fluently before
