if she wasn't bothered to check up on me, someone who has texted her virtually every single day since July of 2020, I shouldn't be bothered by her reply. Friendships, like all relationships, work when two parties care for each other. Nothing one-sided ever lasts. That was the final nail in the coffin. I won't be texting her again.

if it's any consolation, my boyfriend hasn't texted me in 3 weeks. i have no idea where he is.

she cared for me in the past. I don't know what happened. I was within my limits, didn't make any jokes that would hurt her feelings, tried my best to be there for her whenever she needed me, like c'mon, I did it all because I saw her as my best friend, not as anything else. I suppose that wasn't enough for her. I am really done with this nice version of myself. Should just go back to my previous evil, selfish self
