Hello! It’s been a while since we’ve talked. I’m doing good actually. How are you doing?

Nice, I'm happy to hear it! And yeah it has been a while, definitely a couple of months at least D: I'm doing alright, thank you very much! I'm trying to be better at fulfilling my promise of being active on the forums xD how's the covid situation for you? Are you in lockdown and have you managed to keep safe?

Ah, yes. The situation in where I live (South Texas) is out of control because everyone gets bored of staying at home and so they go out and party. At the moment.. no. Where I live, the city isn't on lockdown and yes, I have managed to keep safe.. although I sometimes do visit my family members. What about you? What have you done during these difficult times?

Happy to hear that you've managed to be safe and yeah it's frustrating when people are going out and breaking the rules, I always try to emphathise with people because, well, we're all fed up and want to get our lives back to "normal" again, but yeah it's still annoying.
I've been good too! Here in the UK, we're in a national lockdown with no end date xD

Although I think our lockdown will end sometime in the spring when the number of covid cases starts to fall again. I'm feeling really hopeful with the vaccines rolling out though - it's a definitely a different situation to how it was in early 2020 when we didn't know what was going on and there was no vaccine in sight

Well in the Meantime, we can always learn something new since we have more time now than there was before.

Hopefully the vaccines actually work so that us, family, can visit one another as frequently as we usually did.

But for now, we should take care and always follow the safety procedures that the government has provided us.

I learned how to roller skate backwards! So that's pretty cool. xD

Yes, I hope everything will be fine with the vaccines as they keep rolling out and that there aren't any unexpected problems with them! And wise words, my friend, hopefully as many people as possible manage to stay safe <3

Hmm, I'm not sure I've really learned any specific skills or hobbies, but I've got a lot better at playing guitar while being at home

I USED to play the guitar.. but I stopped due to the virus. I was learning A LOT when I was in the Guitar Class, plus, it was a free class! Since the schools closed, my dad dad bought me an acoustic guitar so that I can practice, but I stopped because I didn't have that motivation. I also didn't have the teacher in front of me to show me how to play. So yeah, this pandemic took.. basically everything from all of us.

That's a big shame, and I'm really sorry to hear you stopped playing the guitar. Have you tried looking for lessons on YT? There are a whole lot of videos out there teaching the basics and you might find them useful if you want to give it another go! (also if you got any questions about playing guitar, feel free to ask me and I might be able to help!!)

I think you should start learning again cause playing an instrument and being able to make music like that is a truly wonderful thing, so I hope you pick up the guitar again if you manage to find the motivation ^-^
