if i had to choose a sense that i would lose, i probably would choose smell. even though smell takes a big part in tasting things, i would still be able to taste things ever so slightly, but still enough. i dont want to lose sight because you know, i want to see.

i dont want to lose touch because i dont want to accidentally die since i wont be able to feel any pain. i wouldnt want to lose hearing since i love music.

so yeah, i would want to lose smell even though i love smelling nice things, like nicely washed sheets for example, but what about you?

Traveling and adapting to a new planet will probably not be achieved for another century or two. But with technology involving every day at a rapid speed, who the hell knows how long before we’re able to live on a brand new planet. Just thinking about living on a new planet also pestiferous me to the bones. Why acclimate or even think about doing so on another planet when we-

-still have this planet that’s on the verge of breaking apart? If we put the same energy we do to spaceships into climate change and the pollution problem in the ocean, then we might have a small chance of saving this world before it fully collapses in a decade or so.

It truly infuriates me that humans would rather give up on earth and travel to a different planet just to do the same as they did to earth within a decade, (judging by how awful we humans are).

Nooo, don’t say that! You may be one human amongst 7.8 billion people, but if you put the same negative energy you say about yourself every day, then mark my word, you can definitely put that same energy into doing something positive to the earth or someone in general as you do telling yourself negative things without doing anything about it.

That’s amazing! Congratulations to him, skydiving 25k feet while enjoying the journey with his friends and attempting such an insane thing is the definition of enjoying your life. That said, you don’t always have to feel like you’re a useless piece of garbage every day, glancing and reading at other people’s achievements and feeling lousy about yourself. If you have something big to achieve,

then might as well began putting the effort in while you’re still young and if it doesn’t come out as you wished it would, then at least you attempted reaching your dream rather than laying back, growing up and looking back feeling guilty about yourself,

wishing you would’ve tried doing something astonishing instead doing nothing and feeling awful about yourself as you see others achieving huge things. Also, make sure you have fun in the process, that’s the best part of achieving something.

Ew, I sound like a grown parent. I’m so sorry for my terrible advice lol.

Oh, that’s a relief. It’s a shame that it took 2 years out of your life and happiness but at the same time, at least you don’t have to repeat that dreadful experience. And same here, my mental health was off the roof with all the homework and projects I was assigned every week.

Hell, summer is going by in a flash, and in a month and two weeks from today, school will be back in action, ugh. But I’m delighted to hear your mental health is doing alright. Take care of yourself, it’ll help you in the long run!

Yup, at 5 years old. Kinda sounds like a fictional story I made up but believe me, it’s true; sorta wishing it wasn’t. And yeah, I suppose my Christmas gift was me being alive and healthy after the operation and getting a vaccine for 3 weeks straight due to my condition but yes, woo-hoo I guess?

Though, I do have to get a vaccine every month until I’m an adult but it isn’t that awful.

Smell huh? Nice choice. I do agree with your reasoning.

I would also lose my sense of smell. Don’t get me wrong, having the ability to smell wonderful and sometimes ghastly things is a blessing but losing the capability of seeing, hearing, touching (there is a condition where you can’t feel pain but that doesn't count),

or tasting is a bigger concern to me than having the ability to smell things.
I wouldn’t mind losing the potential of smelling as long as I still have the aptitude of tasting what’s going in my mouth. Mmmmmm, cake.

What’s something the world proclaims a bad thing but actually benefits you?

yeah humans are pretty messed up, and this planet is receiving the consequences because of that. i dont know, a few years back, scientists said we had like what? 11 years to save the planet from irreversible damages of global warming? and then in 2019, those 11 years turned into 7.

global warming is seriously progressing so fast, and we have less than 3-5 years to save the earth, but i guess we're too focused on jeff bezos going to space instead of worrying about more important things now.

yeah, trying to achieve something astonishing is better than doing nothing. thats definitely true.

even though its frustrating to know that i, myself, cant change other people for the better, the main thing i actually want is to not be part of it at all. if i wasnt part of society, heck, if i wasnt a human, i wouldnt have to worry about such irrelevant things, but since im involved, i cant help to feel bitter.

luck you, you start school in over a month from now? i start school on august 16th, which is less than a month from now. im absolutely dreading it, and i already bought my school supplies. sitting in my office everyday and staring at my new school supplies is probably not doing well considering how i just want to forget about school, but anyways.

have you seen? some of our ap scores came out today. yet again, we're being reminded of school with our ap scores coming out, but whatever. i was actually really worried about my ap government and politics test, but luckily, i actually got a 5. im quite happy about it. did you check your ap scores?

its sad that you have to get a vaccine every month because of your condition, but its good to hear how youll be able to stop taking them once you turn into an adult. nice.

what an odd question. something that is perceived as bad but actually benefits me? i dont really know. nothing really comes up to mind. what about you?
