Definitely! That would also depend on which plane company I decided to take and what class I can afford but yeah, I’ll certainly share my experience

And yes, South Korea may look pleasing on the outside but when you get to know the economy and how it truly works on the inside, it isn’t as charming as the monuments shown on Google look. That said, I do agree that most people despise America for their own reasons or even with no reason at all but the more you think about it, the more I see America as an “improved” place to live-

-if you were to compare every other country and how unfair their system is.

Yes, our system is broken for sure, but the environment we get to live in and things we have in our reach like fresh food that other countries such as Africa struggle to obtain everyday is something to at least be grateful for. America isn’t the greatest country to live in, but it sure as hell is an “improvement”compared to other countries.

Destroy the earth? Damn, that’s a bit inimical if I do say but also, you’re right. Mother nature is due for a good cleaning after all that we’ve done for it. It’s kinda like Thanos, wipes out 50% of the entire population and poof out after doing so.

I’ll be real, I’m sorta into Thanos' whole scheme, wipe out half of the human population and leave half on earth, that way, perhaps things could be more balanced on earth, just like how thanos wanted.

And owls? Interesting choice!

Definitely poseidon. I'm fond of water and the undersea, so having parents that basically control the ocean in the palms of their hands would be fanatating. In addition, I have limited power of the ocean as a bonus and capable of deploying anything agents of the ocean animals if they were to disobey the rules. So that said, if I were to have greek-

-gods as my parents, I would go with Poseidon, king of the water. Having 71% control of basically earth.

What about you? Which greek god would you like to have as parents and why?

im also totally into the whole thanos scheme. getting rid of half of the human population is great and all, but i guess the only problem of that is who lives. in order for society to function, we need to keep the essential workers and any other people that maintain order- or else, the whole entire world would go into chaos. we also need to take in consideration of families and friends.

if we (the gov) were able to choose which people of the population are able to disappear, i could imagine a dystopian society. perhaps every year, there would be a test in school to determine which children are able to live and which are to die. if you fail the yearly test at any point in school, youre taken away to custody to die. if you pass, you get to survive for another year and last until high school is over.

or perhaps something similar to "survival of the fittest" would be taken into place. there would be games, maybe the hunger games, to see whos fit to live, or maybe (based on the book: the fifth wave), induced natural disasters occur all around the world, killing the ones who are unfit to survive and only leaving the able to carry on the good genes.

i could totally see these types of systems taking place if we had to choose who would be killed off lol.

anyways, for me, i would also choose poseidon. if youve read the percy jackson series, you would know how strong percy is by being the son of one of the main three greek gods- poseidon.

being able to breath underwater and to swim faster is quite amazing. you could talk to sea animals and have the ability to control water- to turn water into weapons as well. create artificial tsunamis and other water-related natural disasters to cause harm or to "clean" the earth. not only that, you could use your water powers to help get rid of the tons of pollution sitting around in the ocean.

having the ability to control and to thrive in the sea is too great of a power to pass considering the amount of possibilities there are to use those powers.

alright, next question, if you were in a book and had to take on a role, which one would you choose?

the tragic hero that is praised and honored by society but eventually falls into self destruction- both mentally and physically- or become the cunning villain that is successful in all he does, and living the best, most rewarding and luxurious life, living longer than the hero, but being out-casted and hated by the public (constantly wanted and hunted by other heroes as well)?

My apologies for responding late! I’ve been busy fixing up on some things and work during the process! And for sure, but with 50% of the population poofed into dust, perhaps the other 50 percent that remains might realize how huge they f’d up and could take into consideration in changing up the system and improving from there, kinda like a fresh start.

But like I said, even if we got the opportunity of restarting and beginning a new chapter with an optimistic system, our relatives might be pariahs in the process, maybe even an entire generation.

It’s funny, because I watched a movie and the setting replicates exactly what you just mentioned. But I could see other countries that don’t have as much freedom as the US does such as China or North Korea doing such deviant things. The problem is, it would slowly kill off the population of a certain race and the human race in general bit by bit every year until (let’s say) 20% of the people that-
_IshEric
_IshEric
-started the start of the school year and passed every test without being killed are left. And, what's the propriety of that 20% wanting to have kids? What are the chances of one of the survivors falling in love with someone that also survived every test? The more you think about it, the lower the chances are of the human population expanding if that were to occur.

Did I get too deep into this non-existing system? Yeah lol sorry

The Hunger Games would be more fitting to the occasion. But instead of testing people’s intelligence, they would be tested in skills and demiertrait themselves that they are worthy of living and those that are not, killed. But that would probably never happen, ever. Maybe in an alternate universe then, maybeeee.

I haven’t read the percy jackson series but might begin it once I’m finished with the book I’m currently reading. And yesss, Poseidon is a good choice! Poseidon holds many astounding powers when relating to water, to having the capability of breathing underwater to basically drawing the entire earth underwater if he craves. Greeks Gods are pretty fascinating the more you read up on them.
