NOOO HAROLD a sandwich has two loaves (loafs? uhh-) of bread sandwiching something in the middle. The sausage in a hot dog is not fully covered by the hot dog bun, therefore a hot dog is nOT a sandwich. Plus, a hot dog bun is basically a loaf of bread cut in half
