xD I know what you mean! I definitely think that people change slightly at night time; I heard that we tend to be more honest at night, idk why that is though! Glad to hear you're doing well, and aw, what's your favourite snack? :D

xD Yes I definitely change at night time. It gives off an eerie mood in my opinion and I've seen a lot of movies with jumpscares so I'm always very quiet or nervous at night heh.. My favorite snack would probably be chips, popcorn, or cinnamon rolls, depends if I want salty or sweet foods! Popcorn just because it's my stress food :3 What about you?

I love horror movies! But yeah, sometimes your mind starts playing tricks on you at night time and that's a bit annoying D: it's nice when the days are long and the nights are short ^-^ wow, I've never tried a cinnamon roll but they look so good! I love chips too, and I'm from the UK so we call them crisps over here xD

Yes, horror movies are great but my brothers are too scared to actually watch them with me so I'm stuck watching not so scary movies sadly. :c yes long days are the best days! :D Cinnamon rolls are like a bundle of bread with cinnamon inside and icing drizzled on top. Woah you're from the UK?! I personally like saying chips more because the p makes it sound "crunch" in my opinion. :3

Oof that's annoying xD do you have a favourite movie? The days are sooo long right now where I am, the sky starts getting light at like 3:30 am which is really cool ^-^ they sound really delicious, I hope to try one some day!! I actually agree with you there, chips sounds better than crisps! There's a lot of US words that sound better than the UK words in my opinion :D
StormyLyn
StormyLyn
Yeah xD I haven't watched horror movies in so long so I don't have a favorite but I'm hoping to watch Annabelle because Trenz and Khriz said it was good! What about you? I've never been to the UK so I have no idea what other words there are that are different ;^;
Ray_Palmer_Atom
Ray_Palmer_Atom
Oh wow Annabelle looks terrifying and really great, good luck if you do watch it! I think Bird Box might be my favourite horror, it was SO intense watching it xD
Hmm, well for example we call an elevator a "lift" over here, and a parking lot is a "car park", and pants are "trousers", it's weird why there are different words used xD
StormyLyn
StormyLyn
Yes thanks. xD Bird Box definitely sounds scary. wait so... lift is an elevator? That is so weird! (in a good way-) and a car park rhymes and it just doesn't have the same sound as "parking lot" ;^; I guess those both would work.. and trousers. Trousers concern me- no idea why, pants just sounds better :D
Ray_Palmer_Atom
Ray_Palmer_Atom
I'm gonna agree with you on all of those, especially parking lot, it's definitely got a better ring to it than car park xD

USA > UK (in words of course-)
Ray_Palmer_Atom
Ray_Palmer_Atom
^^ agreed for most of the words!
StormyLyn
StormyLyn
yes definitely! crisps do sound nice and all but chips have that "crunch" sound!
Ray_Palmer_Atom
Ray_Palmer_Atom
Totally! And I mean "elevator" flows more smoothly than "lift" xD
StormyLyn
StormyLyn
I agree! I can't decide if the american version "candy" is better than calling it "sweets"....
Ray_Palmer_Atom
Ray_Palmer_Atom
Yeah I'm not sure either tbh, maybe they both sound good?
StormyLyn
StormyLyn
mhm, they both work! I can't imagine calling "french fries", which are delicious, "crisps" though...
Ray_Palmer_Atom
Ray_Palmer_Atom
Oh, confusingly, we actually call them "chips", or sometimes "French fries" as well. I don't know why xD
StormyLyn
StormyLyn
aCk oops I meant chips- sorry I wrote that while I was half asleep and mixed up crisps and chips. mY bRain iS bRoken.
Ray_Palmer_Atom
Ray_Palmer_Atom
Ohh, no worries! I mean honestly my brain is broken while trying to figure out what's "chips", what's "crisps" and what's "French fries" xD
StormyLyn
StormyLyn
same here xD I'm so confused when it comes to "chips" and "crisps" and "french fries". I can't imagine a world without it though.
