okay. what the hell. i finished watching the season 3 finale earlier and ??? what ?? the hell ?? i am so full of emotions. i'm confused and upset and mad and stressed and akdbdbsksjdbd

DR ??? MELENDEZ ??? DIED ??? he's literally dead. and nobody even CARED. NOBODY TOOK A SECOND LOOK. there was an earthquake and he seemingly got "a little bit hurt" and then suddenly it's a medical emergency and there's no hope for him and he dies??? BARELY ANYBODY SAID GOODBYE TO HIM!?!?!!?

the whole situation was SO. FREAKING. WEIRD !!!! he's a TOP SURGEON OF THEIR HOSPITAL AND A LOVING FRIEND AND VALUED MEMBER OF THE SURGICAL TEAM.

claire and dr. lim sat with him and whatever and dr. glassman had a brief chat with him but they barely even seemed sad?!?!?!?

after dr. melendez supposedly "died", claire and dr. lim hugged for like FIVE SECONDS and cried a bit and then they were just like "let's get a drink sometime".. WHO DOES THAT.

they both loved dr melendez, knew him for so many years... i get that they deal with loss all the time bc they're doctors but this is so different.
