it's crazy to think that this year will mark three years since your death.
three years since we last spoke.
three years.
gosh.

i miss you more than ever and wish so badly that we could speak again, even just for a minute.

i honestly just want to thank you, and i want you to know that these words truly come straight from my heart.

thank you for being my friend, for getting to know me, for bringing out my crazy side.

ten/eleven year old me was one very confused, frustrated kid. and i can't tell you how much it means to me, that you and phoenix both took time out of your life to befriend and spend time with somebody like me. it really boosted my self esteem and made me more confident.

i will always treasure the times we had together, talking about nothing and everything.
i will treasure the times we spent enjoying life as the kids we were.
i will treasure the kindness you showed me and the way you inspired me to give back to the world.

i wish you could see the person i am now, as a teenager, as your best friend, and see how much of an impact you had on me.

i'm so, incredibly grateful that i got the chance to know you and i will always be thankful that you came into my life.

you taught me so much, and those lessons i will value and hold close to my heart.

i'd like to think you'd be proud of me and that we'd be closer than ever.

i love you and i miss you with my entire being.
