Brown eyes turn to her in suspicion when she doesn't respond, "Are you...okay?" Phoenix's voice is softened with concern.

He studies her curiously and closes the space between them, whispering, "Listen to me: you're an amazing girl and whatever pain you're feeling right now, you don't deserve it."

Killer glances at Phoenix, "Are you feeling okay? Since when did you become so...mature?"

Phoenix chuckles and hugs her tight, "Don't make this about me. You're the one who's not okay. Listen...I'm done with thinking only for myself because...I want to care for you too."

Lia: *is in nearby bush* *fangirls* *drags Kendra into the conversation*

Phoenix peers around cautiously, "Anyone out there? I have a sword and some bloodlust by the way!"

Killer facepalms and stands in front of a bush, "Hey Lia, Kendra. What brings you here?"

Lia declares smugly, "I SMELL SHIPS."

Kendra groans and faces Killer, "We were on a walk. She just meant she shipped," Kendra scans the area hurriedly, "those two!"
