On second thought, maybe it’s all about the words. You don’t got the sweet talk in your application, you don’t have a as high chance of becoming helper. Actions define the person, not sweet petty talk

I love the fact people make assumptions whenever they don’t even know how applications work.. it’s certainly not about ‘sweet talking’ your way into it.

Anyone can be a liar, now, I’m not calling the new helper a liar; if she can fulfill her promise of helping the server, that’s great!
What bothers me is that you don’t even consider the other people who applied and worked their butt off to help, I’m not talking about myself

I wasn’t throwing shade at anyone, nor was I meaning to come off in any rude way.

I worked quite hard.. applied and got accepted.. so I’m pretty sure that’s not the case. (*ﾉ▽ﾉ)

It’s not about popularity or comparing how much this person has done compared to this other person - how do you know we don’t go through multiple staff applications and go through a bunch of people we think are worthy?

I have many people I believe could become staff, I’m fairly certain the other staff do as well - but we pay attention to a lotta things, the way people treat others, their personality or attitude.

We didn’t just choose piggy because we were in desperate need of a new staff or whatever you might wanna think this is, but I feel like some people are really underestimating her because they haven’t seen what she’s done.
