Not for me, but I have a similar experience xD
This was a few months ago when I used to take TBB seriously. But now I don’t for reasons that you’ll soon see xD

So... a while ago, I was like, “Hey, why not do TBB? I’m a builder!” So I join a game, it’s all fun. The theme was squid. Mine was so beautiful \o/ I was absolutely positive I was going to win... or at least felt like it xD
It’s time to vote and after seeing the other competitors, I definately felt that I was going to land in the top three. Results come annnd...!!!

A blue wool block with purple legs won first place. I landed in... you guessed it. Fourth place! Not even top three. Sooo... ever since then, I’ve taken TBB as a joke xD

I'm scared to discover what dark arts await me xD

Oml, literally the same thing happened with me! The theme was "hammer", so I built a pixel art of what a hammer would look like if it was implemented into mcpe. I thought it looked pretty good, especially when compared to the carpet vomit that the others made. And guess what won?
