I feel like that's an insult. I honestly don't know. I always call it America. xD

The colonies were only thirteen states, right? America has how many states, now? Fifty? So I don't think the term is right either way. America won its independence from Britain, so I don't understand that logic. xD

I'm sure Australians askes the same question to a British person. xD

British people feel the same way when Americans refer to the United Kingdom as England. I don't really care since I'm from England, but whatever. xD
