wanting their bounty for "destruction of property" and other stuff, whilst trying gather evidence with the help of a friend to prove their innocence and find the culprit of accusing the 3 teenagers falsely work?
I don't know how the story will work and what bosses/large obstacles to make to apprehend the teenagers from ever completing their objective?

Well if u want a real answer it would probably be thru alot of cliches
They all complete each level and find a clue
once they complete all levels and bosses they peice together the clue expose corruption and destroy the wor- i mean government..

they're trying to prove their innocence AND figuring out who put them up falsely. You'll also find out why before uh the final boss.

And they have to fight many strong foes and the friccin military
OF THE ENTIRE WORLD
And the teenagers aren't fond of killing

oof i can guess its either the friend that is helping them the big boss that pulled all the strings or some sort of old rivalry OR MAYBE REJECTED LOVEEE jk thats never happening ;-;
