I'm actually considering working as a vet in the furture, but for now I don't know if I should place my studies in music or medicine. I'd do both, if possible.
I play piano and cello, as well as recorder (if that even counts xD). My sister also has a ukulele but she never plays it. She even has a violin, too, but again never practices. And shen she DOES, it's just a quick, go-through-the-song-once and she puts it away. How disgraceful!
I actually don't pick up my ukulele much either anymore mainly because all the ukulele classes around here suck and im bad at self teaching myself stuff
Well at least you have a reason not too. Where I live, orchestral music FLOURISHES and we have the best classical teachers. In fact, when my sister's violin string broke, her teacher replaced it with a GOLDEN one! Yet she rarely practices, and when it's time to drive to the lesson she whines like a monster.
Yeah...
Speaking of poopy tutorials, I used to play in my school orchestra but I left because the teacher was AWFUL. She's so bad, that once she tuned my cello and the next day my "G" string was higher than my D string. It was extremely out of tune.
I feel you. I could tune it myself but nobody taught me how to use the main pegs yet. I can only use the fine tuners, which only make a small sound difference.
