and that's the sad part about brokenlens.

the thing is like you said brokenlens pretty much runs on popularity and let's be honest at some point in our lives we've all wanted to be popular, at least known to a small community as someone who was a person to respect.

since brokenlens runs on popularity it's given us the chance to be known to people. i think we got addicted to it, being "famous". that's why we can't leave. and maybe there are other reasons like not wanting to leave friends. but it's still hard to be honest. i'm almost at my 2 year anniversary already, and i've tried leaving about 6-7 times and god it's just so hard.

most people on here are probly not popular in life so they like haveing their own "place" where they can be respected and listened too

while i agree about brokenlens not being such a welcoming community as it formerly was (i mean, it still is, just not as much as before), i also don't want to open up to new players because i know just like before, i'll make more friends, get more attached, and then i won't be able to leave no matter how hard i try.
