Share your hobby ( ⸝⸝•ᴗ•⸝⸝ )

it's lovely to meet talented people in here! ♡

I'm fond of drawing black & white hyperrealistic portraits using charcoal pencils, even in such a very slow progress but hey! a slow progress is still a progress~ I've been active before on twitter to share some of my Dream Team artworks and it was heartwarming to get acknowledged by Dream, Sapnap, and CaptainPuffy!

i'm still open for commissions if anyone's interested~

I write short stories and an on-going psychological drama/thriller novel series though i've been very busy to even continue my series as well as on how mentally challenging it is. I've been crocheting lately and I just finished my woodland inspired cardigan! And now i'm finishing my second cardigan. ♡

I alsoo compose song lyrics, sculpting, reading, journaling and just got back on playing minecraft few months ago.
omg they really realistic how long does it take you to finish a drawing?? ITS IMPRESSIVEE and very many creative hobbies , what abt drawing a simple turtle sketch

what genres ;o
Most Psychological. I tried to blend School, Comedy, Drama, Horror, Isekai, Seinen, Shōnen, Slice-of-life, and Thriller all in one.

I also like the concept of Academic Horror as well.

And hence, I pioneered a new subgenre Academic Psychological Epic.

ok first of all i want those turtles, they look so cute

I have been playing around with underwater photography. I like macro and I am also just a sucker for nice textures lol

(edit - so it keeps changing the order for some reason but I am too lazy to fix it)
1 & 2: nudibranchs
3: peacock mantis shrimp
4: clownfish
5: starfish
6: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ some sort of freshwater plant
7: crinoid
8: northern cerianthid
9: Membranipora membranacea (bryozoan). Not sure how the quality will show up here but if you zoom in you can see the lophophores!
10: nudibranch eggs
11: squid
WOAA PRETTY i love ocean creatures, funfact i own 15 jellycat octopuses and 7 jellycat turtles, someday you gotta capture a pic of an octopus and a turtle 😉 And is it hard to capture photos underwater? Does it take a lot of time to hit the right pose/angle?

woah that's really cool!

I have pics of both! I'll attach them below. I saw A TON of turtles when I was in the Philippines. One of the octopuses I saw was checking us out and getting underfoot as we were walking out of the water so I didn't get a good pic of it lol

It depends I guess. Usually it's not too bad, but I usually have to play around with angle and focus/zoom. Sometimes there is current or the subject I'm trying to capture is in an awkward spot which can make it interesting lol

I've taught myself piano and composition, so I've arranged a couple piano pieces, played in bands in music subjects, and it's led me to start a diploma of music.

I've also dabbled in a bit of creative writing, I made a novel last year (just for fun for my friends) and studied it in university this semester; I hope to continue writing because it's fun to craft stories.

I also read a lot of books (been rereading Harry Potter this year, and I recently read the entire Percy Jackson universe).

Idk if this is a hobby but I like to hangout with friends as much as possible lol, I'm quite outgoing (despite being the complete opposite as a teeanger).

Sometimes I try and cook but I'm not really able to find much time to actually delve deep into it.

And sometimes I play games. I've stopped playing Minecraft and any kind of online game (it's not really my thing anymore), instead I play RPG games since I like stories (they're basically interactive movies).

That's basically what I've been doing for fun since BRLNS shut down and I couldn't make maps for the server anymore.
Percy Jackson is the best. I started reading it in 3rd grade and still come back to it. Do you like sci fi by any chance? I've been reading The Murderbot Diaries and it's probably one of my favorite series besides Lord of the Rings right now.

thank youu, approximately 2-3 days, the details are really time consuming. I ACTUALLY LOVE TURTLES, and your adorable turtle~ I'm planning to paint a turtle soon, we'll see how it goes!

mind you, I haven't seen a turtle in my life but I'm really fond of them :( Only got a collection of turtles as if they're merch or souvenirs.

Yeah I honestly like any genre if it has characters that resonate with me and good writing. I've never heard about the Murderbot Diaries, what's it about?

the only song I can play on the piano is Faded, somehow that one never leaves my memory and books... I still don't really like them 😔. They're somehow just hard to get into. I only ever read back in high school because I had to for my grades. and yeah def!!, I also love hanging out with friends, especially cafe hopping and trying out new food, and u got lots of hobbies ;O. I've also been experimenting with cooking! I mostly like to make Asian food like tonkotsu ramen, fried rice, and pork belly huehue. As for games, I actually only play Honkai Star Rail... but I'm not that active anymore. I just do my dailies and log out. anddd do you miss building maps?
It does sound like I've got lots of hobbies but sometimes my days are like 90% comtemplating life and forgetting everything else that I can do lol. Often writing out stuff like this sounds more impressive than it actually is.
And it looks like you cooking skills are 100x better than mine because the most sophisticated thing I can make is an egg sandwich.

(And yes sometimes I do miss building maps, but I've stopped playing Minecraft awhile ago so there's not much that really reminds me of building anymore, so it's all in the past now for me).

sometimes the simple stuff hits the absolute best hihi. and cooking tonkotsu ramen or pork belly really just comes down to following YouTube tutorials step-by-step, i trust you can do this too c: (and building maps left you with some beautiful memories)
