Here’s MORE progress of my map for TNT Tag. I think I kinda made it look huge so I may change it to a MM map even if I don’t play that game a lot -3-. Anyways, suggestions and feedback are greatly appreciated :)! I’d like to consider this map a lesson since this is my first time building something out of what I’ve learned from watching vids to my own imagination. I’m not the greatest at building since I used to depend on step-by-step tutorials but I wanna change that and start building from imagination like any amazing builder! I’m still thinking if I should apply for builder, but I’m not sure if I’m there yet or am prepared. So feedback for that would also be appreciated :D! Here’s the results! I plan to add a little town and more floating islands :)

(terraforming by hand sUckS-)

oh woah.

LOVE the trees! Maybe add more texture to the walls tho (terraforming by hand is REALLY hard though), such as green terracotta or just mix in blocks that look lovely :) this really looks like a TNT Tag map!

AMAZING job!

The map is really beautiful, but not suitable for tnt tag.
yes I made have chosen quite a big size and realized it halfway when I had to fill up the terrain. What I can do is limit what parts players can go through with barriers but that wouldn’t do much or make this map for another game. I’ll try improving on the size next time I build another map for Tag ; v ;

Personally, I like your map with its openness and beauty. But of the minuses that I would like to note are:

-The depth of the rivers. I don’t know how convenient PC players are in this aspect, but mobile players are definitely not (for example, a pond on the Valley map). Swimming is normal, but swimming up is buggy. If you already make rivers, then I advise you to do the minimum depth.

-Map too high. Tnt tag is primarily "Tag and Run," and not "Stop and Wait," as in Hide and Seek. The map, as you recognized, is large in size, but I would like to say that it is large in height. A lot of high mountains on map corners. Therefore, the map is very campsite. I also want to pay attention to the vines, very lowered. They rise very high, into the trees on the flying island. Players can easily climb these trees along the vines.

It all comes down to the fact that the map is built on luck, and not on skill. Moreover, in places it is not playable.

The map is really good, especially for the first time trying build something, but if you build it for the TNT tag, then first of all aspects put playability first and then beauty and so on, also observing the size of the map and its average height . Great job, old friend ;)

Thank you for the feedback! I’ll try to apply this while I’m still working on the map. Will definitely keep this in mind for the next map I’m building for this game :)! Perhaps I could:

-Put barriers above the lake so players can walk on the water instead of swimming on it or replace the water with blocks that could mimic water (such as the map Pond)

-Limit the places of camping. As an old player, finding a good camping spot can really be annoying especially if it’s too OP. About the vines to the floating islands, it was never my intention to have the vines grow that long to the ground. I still haven’t put the command to stop them from growing but the floating islands are not a feature players can get to. It’s just for decoration (yes I’m sorry for the players that wanted to get to the floating islands-)

-Limit places. I’ve been thinking of limiting where players can go. Map may be big, but you can’t that far. Thinking of blocking climbing the mountains, the bridge, the terrain on the pond and more. I want to concentrate everything on the middle which is where most of the players tend to be. More 1v1ing instead of hiding.

I’ll see what I can do but this is amazing feedback! Thank you :D

that wouldn't be a good tnt tag map i think, what makes a good tnt tag map is having places to maneuver around, so someone could just run in a long straight line and not be tagged. but looks cool
