This thing right here. The first pic is just a reference for him to build I think that's what's he meant for "I copy this" Not the copy or paste thingy- cuz u can clearly see the differences of the reference pic and the one he built. I believe he built that in 2 days- I think he uses commands for the hills that's why it made it faster or maybe he have someone helping him. He submitted a map not made by him once but that doesn't mean he will keep doing that. This is just my opinion tho pls don't attack me- I could be wrong about this.



It's looking pretty and good so far! Keep it up! I do agree with others suggestions- more texture and detailing can be added too.

Yes I'm saying he did build it. I was just referencing that he said he copied of that and yes there are differences in both builds. But you only see one side of the build that he's referencing.

And I mean I saw the original on some yt channel I've seen before. I follow a lot of minecrafters so I do remember stumbling across this

However I'm not bashing or getting on him for referencing :two_hearts: that wasn't my worry. I just didn't want him to get in trouble if someone else who happens to follow the same ytber to like....say something. But honestly I see the uniqueness and beauty in his work and I love everything he put into it!!

My question to the build team was

Does it still count as your own build if it was copied? And can you submit it as your own?

I understand that there are 8 billion people on this planet. So it's gonna really hard even if you wanted your own design not to make it either look similar or almost resemble someone else's.

But yea that was just my question.

Why are you doubting he built this map? Just because it looks good enough? Like he can't build? If you created a map and someone accuses that you stealed it, saying "blahblahblah he can't build a map in 2 days bc he has school blehblehbleh" you would show evidence

Let's put it like this:

If you did build it, that's wonderful! It looks awesome, just maybe don't copy a big house teehee. Great job!

If you didn't build it, oh well, that's just a lesson you need to learn not to do, simple as that. It could get you in a lot of trouble. Doesn't require a huge argument, ya'll ;)

btw this map would look great with shaders, ngl

First of all , it is 100% possible to make a map like that in 2 days , I created my Towers Map in 4 hours and alot of the builds were by hand , so just because you " think " that it's impossible to make a map in 2 days doesn't mean he didn't made it .

I'm not sure but you should ask @AllyMac_ , in my opinion maybe you can but you have to recreate it or give credit to the original builder/s .

Btw the map looks cool and I agree whit vini this should be a map for OITC / TagHunters

Honestly, idrk why some people (obviously not all) have to say "he didn't build this", it's like you're not appreciating the hardwork and effort he put into building this map.

You are almost always rude and it is your fault- you can chose to say things nicely- there is always a choice and even after you post it you can always change it if you reread it and think it sounded rude (which in my opinion you probably always should)

I usually don’t like to interfere but maybe instead of questioning someone’s art, go do something else. It was a bit rude and you did seem to be a bit aggressive at first ;-/ I don’t like when people question builders like their cops all the time. Ok he may have copied the house but at least he still tried to create a cool landscape. Please be more kind if you don’t know the actual truth.

The reason people are doubting this is his is because he entered a map submission that wasn't his once- yes he used someone's build as a reference but it is in no way identical to the og build- you can clearly see the work in progress- I believe he built it- Sameer- take everyone's recommendations- for the trees, the islands etc
