I don't mind that the server is catering to the people who buy ranks, like sure, they deserve it. vertx has to make money somehow. I just hope the ranks don't get too OP to the point where you literally need a rank in order to join without having to wait a minute or two. Like in the MM idea, it'll be unfair to watch only the ranked people get choosen to be murderer and sheriff. It's hard enough already. I think the ranks already have enough stuff, but if they need more, I have some ideas. They could have fun perks, like spawning animals in the waiting lobby or maybe even having a pet that helps them in game. The pet won't attack anything, but it will boost the player's coin and EXP income at the end of the game based on their kills. Boosters like that are fine. It does not, for example, give them a stronger attack rate in a PVP game, or gives them an extra life in OITC, anything that overpowers the regular players. I watched suckboat, my first server, spiral down into the abyss from abusing the VIP ranks. I hope that never, ever happens to BRLNS.

i mean im sure they WONT. vertx seems very reasonable and not STUPID like the owner(s) of crapboat. im SURE he wont do something so OP its STUPID.

So true. Imagine if BRLNS turned into suckboat for 1 day. You'd have to wait like 10 freaking minutes to join a game, then you'd see "EMERALD RANK EMERALD RANK HURDEE HURDEE HUURRR!!!" Advertisements all over the place. Only ranked people could buy kits, pets, join whatever team they wanted. Plus the regular people can't chat very fast. Me, I'm a fast typer. Back when I tortured myself with shetboat, they blocked my messages and said "Non-VIPs can't chat as much." A pretty pathetic way to milk money out of people.
But I'm glad that vertx is smart, I'm 99.998% sure that that day shall never come.

Since I haven’t really read what the ranks could do in a long while, I went back and checked. The only thing I see that is in-game are level kits, the rest are lobby or notification things. Don’t you think they should at least have another game to have their ranks in-game?
I’m not saying to have ranks have OP advantages in every single game, but maybe minor ones in a few games other than levelled kits in PvP? They are helping to keep the server alive, after all.

Yeah. I totally agree with you on that. But I still feel like ranks should at least get another minigame to put their rank to worth. (That the right saying?) Maybe, to have things fair while still allowing ranks to have their worth, perhaps not allow them to get chosen for murderer or sheriff right off the bat for a few games to make it even, if Vertx can code that of course.

Would be nice, I mean having all these cool pets and effects is fine but that being all us vip's get is kind of sucky.

I just want to point put one thing about the /setheme command for YT ranks. This command can be abused. What if a YT rank watches or learns how to draw a good build of like a fish, house, school, and then everytime they play they set the theme of the build they learn and win.
This would give the YT ranks an advantage and it would make them get legend on TBB easier.

Great ideas, but like almost everyone else, I disagree about the MM thing.

One main thing to point out, you see people in MM complaining, "I can't wait to be Murd.... " or they be like "plz plz plz plz PLZZZ can I be Murd". Making VIPs having a higher chance of Murd/sheriff is unfair to those who can't afford it, and to those who just want to be murd for fun.

I might have a game changer idea on attracting more players to Broken Lens, I'll make a convo with you Hazard.

I added the option for players to use their coins for a buff that gives them a slightly higher chance.
