Remove players that is not sign in to xbox

5 of us in 1 game there are 4 sign in players and 1 not sign in 4 of the sign in players includes me are not hackers and there is 1 player in the game that is not sign in and hes a hacker so the chance that you will see a hacker with xbox live is 1 out of 100

Didn’t you make this thread before? Also it would be unfair for people who don’t have Xbox Live that aren’t rule breakers. Also also, wouldn’t that make Brokenlens lose more players? Brokenlens is already struggling with players with many games being inactive and so by removing players you’ll just make the games even more difficult to get players.

Yeah but logically you loose 2 (popularity and ruin innocent players) to gain 1 (non Xbox live hackers) so this would be a loss but this is just what I think.

first off when I used to play on the server for the first time like 2 years ago, I only played it cuz I used to play [removed], and I couldn’t sign into my xbox live account, so I simply just went to youtube to see what server should I play, untill all vids said “BrokenLens”

so I joined it and yeah that’s pretty much it, but now I have my xbox live acc works now lol

so yeah it would be unfair and it would loose popularity but i think I agree that Mojang would decide about it

BrokenLens is literally known for letting players login without an Xbox account being needed; most players found this server through YouTube because of that. The server would be more dead because like half of the players don’t have an Xbox account. Don’t just say “then just make an Xbox account” because there could be any possible reasons out there about why some people can’t even get an account or log into their account. Some of my own friends play the server without an Xbox and losing those friends would be a tragedy if an Xbox account was required to login. If this were to happen, don’t blame BrokenLens that the server loses a big chunk of the player base because of it.

I disagree. it might be a pain for the people who played on brlns without an xbox acc for a really long time. Just imagine one day when they woke up and realize they can no longer join brlns forever, imagine the pain they felt for losing they're online friends. It's just not fair so I'll suggest to just leave them be

Though not requiring Xbox accounts does make it easier to make another account and bypass, I've done large group hacker hunts in the past, and out of the long list of IGNs I have, very few of them I see actually come back, and those that do are quickly banned again.

Xbox accounts are required for pretty much every server in MC, and they have plenty of hackers, and even some aren't as responsive and motivated to ban them like our Brokenlens staff.

It's my belief that players can pitch in and help report the hackers, and I've seen massive improvements in just the past few months. We're on the right track.

i will agree dat hackers do take advantage of this, and all you need to make an Xbox Acc is a email/gmail
but some people dont kno how or dont want to do that and so how would they feel if they werent allowed on a server they spent a lot of time on?

No ur wrong in other servers indeed u need a xbox acc to join but with the hackers that u mention is wrong have u ever played on every other mc servers hackers are not as masive as on brokenllens where there are hackers everygame for example the bee server u can only see a hacker ones in a year and me playing on the bee server for years ive only seen one hacker in my life in the bee server but brokenlens you will see a hacker every game and yeah maybe ur right some of the non xbox player are not hackers but yet you cant just hide the truth that most of the hackers are non xbox players and yeah some of the xbox players are hacker but u can say that the hacker population can be lowered

Your point about “hackers are not as massive as on brlns” is not very true; I play on the bee server pretty often these days and I get hackers at least a few times a day. Yes, hackers are more common in brlns, but the anti cheat in the bee server is also bad if you ever experienced any of the hackers there; plus, some hackers are not as blatant as the ones in brlns. In my opinion, the Watcher does a better job against hackers compared to other server’s anti cheats.

Of course the hacker population will be lowered, but you can’t just focus on that one fact because you have to consider the cons of this suggestion too. The server will be more dead, BrokenLens will lose one of the things it was most known for, and a significantly smaller community from this could continue to shrink until it can go extinct if no possible way to revive it is found. I agree with Voniblynn, after some time the number of hackers can decrease if we continue to keep as many hackers out of the server as possible.
